My Philosophy and Mission
I believe everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. My philosophy is rooted in the belief that mental and emotional well-being are integral to overall health and that therapy can be a powerful tool for achieving this balance. My approach is designed to help clients unlock their potential and achieve their goals. I am dedicated to providing compassionate counseling services to individuals struggling with life's challenges and/or mental health issues. My goal is to empower clients to achieve their personal and professional goals, and to improve their overall quality of life.
Professional Background
I earned my Doctorate in Psychology with honors from California Southern University. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Approved Supervisor under WAC 246-809-134, providing clinical supervision to individuals pursuing licensure in Washington State.
I have extensive experience in the mental health field and have served as an Adjunct Instructor at Renton Technical College, Antioch University, and Seattle University. I have a deep passion for teaching, mentoring, and sharing knowledge with students and emerging clinicians, which continues to inform and enrich my clinical practice.
I work with adult clients from a variety of backgrounds, helping them navigate personal, professional, and health-related challenges with support, insight, and evidence-based strategies.

I work with adult clients from a variety of backgrounds, helping them navigate personal, professional, and health-related challenges with support, insight, and evidence-based strategies.
I provide specialized support for women navigating hormonal and chronic health conditions, including: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), Menopause, Fibromyalgia, and Diabetes. These conditions can affect mood, energy, stress tolerance, body image, and relationships. My work focuses on the connection between hormonal changes and emotional wellbeing, including irritability, anxiety, and depression. Therapy provides a consistent and supportive space to process these experiences, develop coping strategies, and navigate the emotional complexities that often accompany chronic or hormonally influenced health conditions.
I also work with professionals and high-achieving adults, including individuals in the tech industry, health care and law firms. Many experience stress, burnout, imposter syndrome, or challenges in maintaining work-life balance.
Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and stress-management techniques, I help clients, manage professional pressures, strengthen emotional regulation, and maintain wellbeing in both personal and work life.
I work with individuals navigating dating, premarital, and marital challenges. Therapy provides a supportive space to improve communication, manage conflicts, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationship patterns. I also help clients address patterns such as conflict avoidance, difficulty setting boundaries, or repeating unhelpful relational dynamics, fostering greater emotional awareness, self-confidence, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Neurodivergent Clients
I provide support to neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD, Autism, or other neurodiverse profiles. Therapy for neurodivergent individuals focuses on developing coping strategies, improving executive functioning, navigating social and professional challenges, and fostering self-understanding and confidence. I use evidence-based approaches tailored to the unique ways each person experiences the world, creating a supportive space where clients can thrive.
Therapeutic Orientation
The therapeutic approaches I utilize are evidence-based and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Existential Therapy. Depending on individual needs, I may also employ an eclectic approach, combining these modalities to best support the client.
I have specialized knowledge in issues related to aging and extensive experience supporting individuals who are caring for aging parents. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, focusing on identifying goals, developing customized treatment plans, and fostering a trusting, supportive therapeutic relationship.
